    It should also be 3x2x2 not (3x2)(3x2)

    The power of 2 only applies to 'a' in (2a*2) and not the whole 2a.
    The power of 2 only applies to 'b' in (3b*2) and not the whole 3b.
    The -1 should be bracketed for two signs (excluding 0) cannot be placed directly beside each other.

  3. The person should have bracket the numbers a and b and 2 and 3; so it is actually a to the power of 2, not 2a to the power of 2. Also, it is b to the power of 2, not 3b to the power of 2.

  4. It should be 2x(3x3) not (2x3)(2x3) and it should be 3x(2x2) instead of (3x2)(3x2).
